The Bijoux
"When I wear an earring, or any other jewel, I like to think that it is a fragment of history, which enriches and enhances my personality and it is with these feelings that I choose our bijoux".
Moreover, the ornament in general was born among the first civilizations with symbolic, religious and political status values.
In the Paleolithic period objects of common use such as bones, teeth and shells are used as talismans, in the course of history then, with the processing of metals, these objects are transformed into copper, gold, silver.
The Mesopotamian and Egyptian civilizations celebrate their jubilation and they take on the modern form and meaning of the ornament.
In ancient Greece they became commonplace and among the Etruscans, exceptional goldsmiths, creations worthy of going down in history were born.
The Middle Ages transformed them into real works of art enriched with pearls and precious stones.
The Renaissance resizes its forms without neglecting its artistic and precious connotation. The great painters do not fail to include them in paintings and it is from this century that I draw my inspiration when I am looking for necklaces, earrings or rings to offer you. Always looking for artisans, who know how to pay homage to past eras, I carefully choose each object, being guided by the passion and respect for Italian craftsmanship which still has a lot to give.
